The Emporia State volleyball team defeated Lindenwood in 5 sets Saturday.
Lindenwood won the first set 25-19. Emporia State won the 2nd set 25-16. Lindenwood won the 2nd set 26-23. Emporia State captured the 4th set 25-13 and won the deciding 5th set 15-13. Taylor Otting led the offense with 20 kills. Yuchen Du added 12 kills and Julia Joseph finished with 10 kills. Allie Maloney had 24 digs and Emma Dixon finished with 30 assists. The Lady Hornets are now 2-3 in MIAA play and 7-10 for the season.
