Emporia firefighters were toned out to a combination fire and gas smell call Friday evening, but they found no evidence of either after an investigation.
Fire crews were dispatched to the 2301 block of Sunset Lakes Drive around 7 pm. However, Fire Capt. Jesse Taylor says there was no fire at the address and there was no indication of natural gas, either inside or outside the building.
The early investigation has concluded.
