A culinary competition is being planned next to month to support student chefs at Flint Hills Technical College.
It’s the second year the college has hosted the competition, dubbed “The Cut.” It’s based off a hit TV show. FHTC Vice President of Advancement Mike Crouch previewed the event on KVOE’s morning show Thursday.
The entire event is student run with the four culinary arts students featured. The event is broadcast live on the big screens inside the FHTC conference center with interactive multimedia students producing the event. Crouch says space is limited.
The Cut will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Call 620-341-1380 for more information.
