The Pittsburgh Pirates walked off with a 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals in 11 innings Tuesday night.
Jorge Bonifacio scored on a Hunter Dozier double to tie the game in the top of the 9th. Starling Marte scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th.
The Royals and Pirates wrap up their 3 game series tonight. Heath Filmyer will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. First pitch is set for 6:05p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
