Abundant Harvest is making inroads to help combat hunger locally, and part of that comes from a donation from a new corporate partner.
Dunkin Donuts held its grand opening Friday. As part of that, the store donated $1,000 to Abundant Harvest. Director Lee Alderman tells KVOE News the money will go to good use right away.
Alderman says corporate partnerships like the one developing through Dunkin are vital to the success of nonprofits like Abundant Harvest. He also tells KVOE News the amount of people looking for extra food is stunning.
