The Emporia High boys soccer team hosts Highland Park Thursday. The Spartans will be looking for their 7th win of the season and 3rd in Centennial League play.
Even though most of the varsity roster is made up of seniors and juniors one freshman, Kevin Rios, has earned a spot in the varsity rotation. Rios scored his first career goal in Tuesdays win over Hayden.
Rios said the team captains have been a big help for him.
The varsity match is scheduled for a 6:30 kick-off at Emporia High School, following the J-V match.
