An Emporia man accused of aggravated battery and interference with law enforcement will wait another month before his preliminary hearing.
Hayward McKoy, Jr. appeared in court for a hearing Monday, which was ultimately continued. McKoy allegedly stabbed another Emporia man with a knife in the IHOP parking lot Aug. 27. He also allegedly fled the scene before being arrested.
McKoy’s next court date, a preliminary hearing is set for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
