The Emporia City Commission will meet for a study session Wednesday morning.
Three items are on this week’s agenda including an update on a rental housing ordinance. Commissioners specifically will be looking into increasing the minimum requirement of the heating temperature to 68 degrees. The current city ordinance requires a minimum 60 degree temperature to be maintained.
Commissioners also will receive updates on a potential land bank and the 5-10 year city plan. Wednesday’s meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
