The Emporia Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2019 grant cycle.
Grants will be awarded for projects that are deemed innovative and also responsive to different community needs when it comes to health, social services, education, recreation and cultural affairs.
Applications are online at www.emporiacf.org or by stopping at the Community Foundation office at 527 Commercial Suite B. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 1, with recipients announced in December and disbursements made in January.
Last year, the Community Foundation awarded almost $25,000 to six area groups and organizations.
