The Granada Theatre Alliance Board of Directors is finalizing the parameters as it begins a nationwide search for a new director.
Board President Staci Hamman says they should have the job ready for advertising by early next week. She says the ideal candidate will have fundraising abilities and will be heavily involved in the community, as the face of the theatre.
Hamman says the board is hoping to move quickly to fill the position.
It is a surprising situation the board finds itself in after Bryan Williams, the current director suddenly announced his resignation on social media last weekend. Hamman says she believes it will be a good move for Williams and hopefully a good move for the theatre as well. Williams took over as director in 2012. His last day is Sept. 30.
