Three teenagers were hurt in a crash in Wabaunsee County on Sunday.
The crash happened on Interstate 35 at Quail Road around 6 pm. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Cole Martinez of Chapman was westbound on the Interstate when his car went off the highway for unlisted reasons. Martinez overcorrected, sending the car back across the highway where it hit an embankment and rolled twice.
Martinez was hurt, as was 15-year-old Morgan Cabe and 13-year-old Abigail Martinez, both of Chapman. All three were taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. Their conditions have not been released.
