The Emporia State soccer team opened their season with a 3-1 win over Harding Friday.
Rachel Marshall, Kennedy Hoffman and Tanna Benefiel scored goals for the Lady Hornets. Both teams had 4 shots on goal. Emporia State goalie Jillian Patton had 3 saves. The Lady Hornets will play Ouachita Baptist Sunday.
