The Emporia High boys soccer team rolled to a 8-1 win over Junction City in their Centennial League opener Tuesday night.
Alvin Arriola scored the first goal on a free kick. Wilber Landaverde scored the first of 3 goals off a corner kick. Hector Hernandez added 2 goals. Roberto Peralta and Ulyses Lopez each scored a goal.
The 2-0 Spartans host Circle Thursday.
