Various and sundry matters are featured on the Lyon County Commission agenda for Thursday’s action meeting.
Commissioners will consider a request from Emergency Management Director Jarrod Fell to be part of a message board project through the state’s Northeast Homeland Security Region.
Separately, commissioners may approve County Engineer Chip Woods’ request to close part of Main Street in Americus on Oct. 6 for the annual Americus Fall Festival and block party. Interim LCAT Director Mike Halleran will also discuss county transportation for an upcoming Boy Scout event at Flint Hills Technical College. At least six executive sessions are planned for non-elected personnel and legal matters.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
