OMAHA, Neb. — A one-time Emporia gymnastics coach accused of videotaping a student and an adult woman in Omaha has been sentenced to prison.
James Bryce Fogg, 28, received seven to nine years in prison at his sentencing in Nebraska on Thursday. He will be eligible for parole in 3.5 years and may be released in 4.5 years if parole is not granted in his case.
Fogg, who pleaded to charges of manufacturing pornography and unlawful intrusion by video, could have received up to 26 years in prison. The presiding judge in the case, however, noted Fogg’s lack of criminal record in approving the shorter sentence.
Fogg had worked at Omaha’s Premier Gymnastics before moving to Emporia. He had worked briefly for Sunflower Gymnastics, but was fired shortly after he was arrested on the Nebraska charges in July 2017.
