The Emporia High girls tennis team is preparing for the up-coming season with 4 state qualifiers back from last season.
Coach Matt Irby says that has been a motivating factor for the team.
Senior Brianna Aceves is one of the returning state qualifiers.
Senior Ally Reynoso and Juniors Adrina Herrarte and Koey James were also state qualifiers last year. The Lady Spartans open the varsity season next Thursday with a home tournament.
