The Tampa Bay Rays out scored the Kansas City Royals 4-1 Tuesday night.
Ryan O’Hearn hit his 5th home run in 14 games to end a 20 inning scoreless streak for the Royals. Manager Ned Yost said they missed some opportunities to score.
The Royals and Rays play again Wednesday night with Jakob Junis on the mound. First pitch is set for 6:10p.
