The Kansas City Chiefs picked up their first preseason win Friday night defeating the Atlanta Falcons 28-14.
The Falcons had a 14-3 lead before Patrick Mahomes connected with Tyreek Hill on a 69 yard scoring play to make it 14-10 at halftime. Chad Henne gave the Chiefs the lead when he connected with Gehrig Dieter for a 27 yard touchdown pass.
Ben Nieman returned an interception for a touchdown.
Harrison Butker kicked 2 fieldgoals. The Chiefs play the Chicago Bears next Saturday.
