The Emporia State football team is two weeks away from kicking off the 2018 season.
One of the deepest positions may be the defensive line that can go as many as 4 deep at each spot.
Junior defensive end Tre’Vaun Ammons leads the group after leading the MIAA in tackles for loss and was 2nd in quarterback sacks.
Sophomore Marek Thompson played in all 11 games last year and finished with 25 tackles.
Senior Logan Powell played in 10 games last year and finished with 12 tackles.
Junior Jackson Maase also returns.
Junior Parker Bass, Junior Dylan Haworth also saw playing time last year.
The Hornets open the season at Northeastern State August 30th.
