Former Emporia Senior Center Director Lannie Lyman returns to Lyon County District Court on Thursday afternoon.
Lyman has an attorney review hearing set for 1:30 pm. This follows an earlier review hearing last week where Lyman said she was close to finalizing an agreement with a local defense attorney — and her preliminary hearing July 31, where Lyman’s request for court-appointed counsel was denied.
Lyman is accused of theft of over $100,000 from the Senior Center from 2016 to fall 2017, when money from the facility was found as missing. A preliminary hearing is tentatively set for Aug. 23.
