The Emporia State soccer team held their first practice Monday morning. The Lady Hornets return 11 players and they all started at least 1 match last year.
There are also 13 freshman on the roster. Coach Brian Sailor said the first practice went well.
The Lady Hornets kick-off their season August 31st at Harding.
The Emporia State Cross Country team held their first practices Monday.
They have set up camp at Lake Melvern. In addition to daily runs, they will do some swimming, take part in team building and work on mental skills during their time at the lake.
