The best chances for additional showers and thunderstorms continues through Tuesday and Wednesday with more chances also possible heading into late this week. As for mitigating our ongoing drought, that may not happen right away. TV-13 Meteorologist Doug Meyers tells KVOE News we are almost six inches below our normal rainfall just since June. Looking back to January, the deficit is now nine inches.
