The latest Healthier Lyon County Walk With A Doc saw more people getting out and active.
Healthier Lyon County’s new regular monthly walk through C of E Park and Q&A with a local doctor was held Saturday morning. A first-time participant, Diana O’Mara, explained why she decided to come out.
Healthier Lyon County is part of a network of 300 Walk With A Doc chapters nationwide. The goal of the event is to help provide individuals with accurate information and curb self-diagnosis.
Walk With A Doc takes place the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. More information is available by visiting Healthier Lyon County on Facebook.
