New KU Athletic Director Jeff Long has hired Mike Vollmar, an executive with some three decades of experience in college football administration, as Senior Associate AD for Football Administration.
Vollmar, who has served as Director of Football at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, since last February, will start at KU next Monday.
He has also spent time at at Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama and Michigan State.
