Denny Hamlin had the fastest lap of the day on the Watkins Glen road course on Saturday to win the provisional pole for Sunday’s GoBowling at the Glen, pending post-qualifying inspection Sunday morning.
Kyle Busch is second followed by Chase Elliiott. Clint Bowyer will set to start from the 19th spot.
Going into the Weekend Clint Bowyer is in 5th place in the driver standings and 4th place in the play-off standings.
Kyle Busch is in first place in both standings.
Bowyer has added new sponsorship to his car Cummins and Rush Truck Centers.
They will be sponsors for the August 18th race at Bristol and the October 14th race at Talladaga.
