The Minnesota Twins out scored the Kansas City Royals 6-4 Friday night in a game that featured 2 rain delays that lasted over 2 hours.
The Twins scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning. Salvador Perez hit a 2 run home run for the Royals in the 3rd. In the 5th Alex Gordon and Lucas Duda drove in runs to give the Royals a 4-3 lead. The Twins answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th and a run in the 6th. Royals Manager Ned Yost called it a grind.
