The Lyon County Fair has hit the ground running.
The carnival kicked off Thursday and grandstand events begin Friday afternoon. Lyon County Fair Board President Ken Duft spoke with KVOE News about this year’s grandstand event headliner, the Kentucky Headhunters.
Events for the grandstands run from Aug. 3 to Aug. 11.
August 3, Antique Tractor Pull, 7 pm
August 4, Ranch Rodeo, 7 pm
August 5, 4-H Night, 5 pm
August 6, Muttin’ Bustin’ followed by Buck Rumble & Roll and Free Style Bull fighting, 7:30 pm
August 7, 4-H Premium Livestock Sale, 6 pm
August 8, 4-H Rodeo, 6 pm
August 9, Kentucky Headhunters in concert, 7 pm
August 10, Truck & Tractor Pull, 7 pm
August 11, Demolition Derby, 7 pm
