City Engineering crews tended to a small gas leak in the 1600 block of East Wilman Court, which developed just before 10 a.m.
A small service line was cut, but Supervisor Jeff Gentz says nobody needed to be evacuated and the initial repairs to the gas leak have been made. No further damage was reported.
Work began this week on a new water line replacement project in that area. Six-inch lines will be installed on East Wilman and Rural streets over the next two months.
