Ryan O’Hearn hit a 2 run home run, in his major league debut, and Brett Phillips hit a 2 run home run, his first hit as a Royal, to lead the Kansas City Royals to a 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox Tuesday night.
In his second at bat O’Hearn hit a two-run home run in the 5th inning.
Brett Philllips hit his 2 run home run in the 7th inning giving the Royals a 4-0 lead.
Danny Duffy shutout the White Sox thru 5 and 2 thirds innings to earn the win. Wily Peralta earned his 6th save.
The Royals and White Sox play again Wednesday night with Jakob Junis on the mound for the Royals. First pitch is set for 7:10.
