Traffic was briefly constrained for drivers using the Kansas Turnpike’s northbound exit at Emporia.
Two semis collided just east of the gate around 7:40 am Tuesday, altering the traffic flow for drivers pulling off the Turnpike to either use Interstate 35 or get into Emporia. Lyon County Dispatch says the crash site was cleared shortly before 8 am, so other drivers had no problems getting through that area.
No injuries were reported with the crash.
