Residents of a northwest Emporia neighborhood went without water service for a time Saturday night.
A 10-inch line broke near Coronado and Monterey around 9 pm Saturday. Residents tell KVOE News it took roughly six hours to get service restored.
This continues a rough month for Emporia’s water supply network, with nearly 20 water main breaks across town since July 10. Last July had 10 water main breaks total.
