Isolated strong thunderstorm activity developed Saturday afternoon near Emporia.
Portions of southwest Coffey County, including John Redmond Reservoir, were under a severe thunderstorm warning although no severe weather was reported.
No severe thunderstorm watches are posted for the KVOE listening area, but severe weather is possible through early Sunday and again beginning Sunday night through early Monday. Hail and high winds are the main concerns along with pockets of heavy rain.
