The Detroit Tigers scored 4 runs in the 4th inning to break a 1-1 tie and never looked back on the way to a 8- 4 win over the Kansas City Royals Wednesday afternoon.
Danny Duffy took the loss giving up 7 runs on 9 hits. The Royals tried to rally in the 9th scoring 2 runs. The Royals finished the homestand 4-2, Manager Ned Yost said it was a good step.
The Royals now head to New York for a 4 game series with the Yankees.
