Chase County authorities are searching for a man they say is a suspect in a recent truck theft.
Video stills indicate the man is white or Hispanic with dark hair and a short beard. Additional information on the suspect is currently unavailable.
The truck in question, a red GMC 1980s model, was last seen heading east on US Highway 50 towards Emporia around 2:30 pm Tuesday. 5 am Wednesday: Stolen truck from Chase County sought by area law enforcement
Lyon County and Chase County authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a stolen truck out of Chase County — along with the person or people responsible for taking it.
The truck, a red GMC 1980s model, was last seen heading east on US Highway 50 towards Emporia around 2:30 pm Tuesday. The truck at one point in time had a for sale sign on the front windshield and a temporary tag on the back bumper.
