HARTFORD — USD 252 Southern Lyon County board members discussed facility upgrades and strategic planning during the board’s regular meeting Monday night.
Superintendent Mike Argabright tells KVOE News renovations are underway at the school buildings in Hartford, Neosho Rapids and Olpe.
Separately, the board continued its ongoing discussion about strategic planning with Neosho Rapids and Hartford both participating in the Kansas State Department of Education’s Kansans Can education redesign.
USD 252 is part of the Gemini II phase, or the third stage of the redesign work taking place at approved districts across Kansas.
The board also briefly touched on the 2018-19 budget, although Argabright says the main focus area was a standard discussion on ending balances and cash carryover.
