Olpe Downhome Days are back this weekend.
The youth rodeo kicks things off Friday at Eagle Creek Saddle Club. City Clerk Joyce Wilson, a recent KVOE Newsmaker guest talked about new events this year.
Kicking off Saturday morning will be a bicycle race which will have both 22 and 40-mile routes, while the 2K run has become a 5K that goes around Olpe Jones Lake. The softball tournament will also be returning this year, with a full schedule of 10 teams.
The Parade will start at 3 p.m. at the high school and street dance will start at 8:30 p.m. to close out the evening.
