The PDGA Junior World Disc Golf Championships begin it’s 4 day run in Emporia Wednesday.
Tournament director Doug Bjerkaas told KVOE on the Monday morning newsmaker that the players come from around the world.
There are 14 players from the Emporia area, that includes Olpe and Madison . There will be 6 different age groups from 6 and under to 18 and under for both boys and girls. Bjerkaas said the courses are matched up with the age groups.
Play begins Wednesday morning. The finals will be played Saturday afternoon.
