Two Kansas residents were hospitalized following a wreck in Greenwood County on Thursday evening.
The wreck happened on US Highway 400 about 10 miles west of Fredonia. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a car driven by 64-year-old Donald Fischer of Wichita was following a semi driven by 27-year-old Jordan Pilarski of Riley. Fischer apparently failed to slow down for traffic and rear-ended the semi.
Both Fischer and a passenger, 36-year-old Sylvia Soule of Cherryvale, were taken to Fredonia Regional Hospital for treatment. Condition reports are pending. Pilarski was not hurt.
