Oregon State survived elimination once again defeating Arkansas 5-3 in game 2 of the 2018 College World Series final Wednesday.
Arkansas would take a 1-0 series lead after a win in game one Tuesday. It seemed Arkansas were on their way to their first CWS title with just one out, and one strike, left in the bottom of the ninth and a 3-2 lead.
Cadyn Grenier would then rip a single to left off Matt Cronin scoring Zak Taylor to tie the game 3-3. Three pitches later Oregon’s Trevor Larnach would blast a two-run homer that gave the Beavers a 5-3 win and forcing a winner take all game three.
Game three will take place tonight in Omaha, the winner will be the 2018 College World Series champion.
