Asleep at the Wheel entertained a packed house at Emporia’s Granada Theatre on Saturday night.
Asleep at the Wheel has been entertaining audiences with its Western swing since 1970. The band’s tour continues until next March.
Saturday’s performance continues a busy 2018 for the Granada, which has already brought the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Dwight Yoakam, Scotty McCreery, Wyclef Jean, Joe Nichols and other well-known artists to Emporia. For concerts, Junior World’s Jam is next on the schedule, coming July 13. Comedian Chad Prather makes an Emporia stop Aug. 11, while the Granada has showings of Ghostbusters on July 27-18.
