KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas authorities are asking you to be on the lookout for an abducted teenager.
An AMBER Alert has been issued for 15-year-old Brajean Sledge, who apparently was taken by an 18- to 20-year-old black man after Sledge’s grandfather was shot in Kansas City.
Sledge is a black female, 5-foot-8, 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white V-neck T-shirt and dark pants, and at the time she had black hear with a blonde weave.
The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and is considered armed and dangerous.
The two left the scene of the shooting in a silver 2017 Kia Forte with the Missouri tag MB5 G5B. The vehicle has since been recovered.
