The 2018-19 budget will be the main point of discussion for the Emporia Recreation Commission when it meets Monday evening.
Board members will likely approve a tentative budget for publication purposes Monday after the board has a budget review for the upcoming fiscal year. Final approval is slated for next month.
Besides the budget, board members will discuss the election process for an at-large member following the recent resignation of longtime board member Roger Hartsook, who announced last month that he was stepping away for health reasons. The board will have an overview of recent meetings with architects as the Rec Commission discusses a range of improvements to the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
The meeting starts at 5:30 pm Monday inside the Rec Center.
