The Emporia Junior legion baseball team was swept by the Topeka Scrappers Wednesday.
Topeka walked off with a 5-4 win in game 1. Post 5 scored 3 runs in the first and added a run in the 5th to take a 4-1 lead. Topeka tied the game with 3 runs in the 6th and walked off with a run in the 7th. Bobby Trujillo drove in 3 of the runs with a single and a ground out. John Pringle was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI.
The Topeka Scrappers won the 2nd game 13-0 in 5 innings. The Post 5 Juniors are now 2-4 for the season and are scheduled to play in a tournament at Andover this Friday and Saturday.
