A movie in the park Saturday evening drew another large crowd for a good cause.
The Emporia Police Department Benefit Association presented the popular children’s movie “Sing” on the big screen in Jones Park. Officer Daniel Delgadillo says the event allows kids and families to see officers in a different light.
Delgadillo says they believe movie in the park events draw a large crowd because they are uniquely the only event of their kind in Emporia.
