Cyclists will have the opportunity to test their endurance and take a scenic tour of Lyon County.
The 2018 Tour De Lyon County will launch at 7 am June 24. Organizers Kent Shcnakenberg and John Koelsch were guests on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Monday to fill us in on theday’ss events.
Koelsch kicked off the segment by describing the route riders will take.
Along with the 106-mile ride is the annual Fun Day in the Grove at Soden’s Grove. Schnakenberg explained what the proceeds from all of the day’s activities will benefit.
A 20-mile fun ride will also accompany the day’s events. The 106 mile Tour De Lyon County will take off at 7 am and the fun ride will follow at 8 am.
Riders may participate as individuals or in teams of three. Pre-registration fees are $50 for an individual before June 16 and $55 after. Team fees are $40 per rider before
