The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team begins their season Saturday. They are scheduled to play in a tournament at Iola.
Coach Anthony Markowitz says it is good to have both a AAA and A team.
Coach Markowitz says the first 4 games will be used to shake some rust off since the players have not played a game in almost 2 weeks.
Even though most of the players that were on the A legion State Championship team last year return, there are no guarantees.
The Post 5 Seniors will play Chanute and the 417 Black Saturday.
Sunday they play 417 Royal and Iola.
