The Optimist Junior Kansas District qualifying golf tournament was played at the Emporia Golf Course Friday.
Calvin Dillon of Louisburg took first in the 16-18 year old division. He shot a 69. Emporian Gentry Scheve shot a 75, Caleb Schmid shot a 79 and Justin Kohlman of Cottonwood Falls shot a 87.
Abby Glenn of Topeka won the Kansas Womens Golf Association Junior kick-off tournament. She finished the two days with a 144. In the 14 and under division Cassidy Corby of Seneca took first with a 2 day total of 198.
