For the second time this week, Wabaunsee County authorities and the Kansas Highway Patrol are involved in a standoff.
Wabaunsee County Dispatch confirms the situation near Alta Vista but has no other details to divulge to the media at this time.
This particular situation follows a lengthy standoff north of Harveyville from Memorial Day. Eventually, Justin Atwood of Topeka was arrested in connection to warrants out of Lyon and Wabaunsee counties. Kelsey Kaberline was arrested in connection to several Shawnee County warrants.
