The Kansas City Royals held on for a 11-8 win over the Minnesota Twins Wednesday night.
The Royals scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning to build a 9-0 lead. Mike Moustakas doubled driving in 2 runs in the first inning and added a 2 run home run in the 2nd inning.
The Twins cut the deficit to 9-8 with 4 runs in the 6th inning. Hunter Dozier hit his first career home run to give the Royals a 10-8 lead in the 7th inning. Jorge Soler added a solo home run in the 8th for the final margin of victory. The win was the 20th of the season for the Royals. Thursday is an off day for the Royals they will begin a 3 game series with the Oakland A’s on Friday.
