ALMA — A Wabaunsee County man is dead after an ATV accident Sunday.
Wabaunsee County authorities say they received a call about an ATV crash west of Alma shortly after 5:30 pm. When deputies and emergency crews arrived on site at West Spring Creek and Panther Roads, they found 27-year-old Jordan Miller of McFarland was hurt. Miller was taken by ambulance to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, but he died of his injuries.
Deputies say the crash happened during a holiday gathering. People attending were riding various ATVs, but Miller’s vehicle apparently rolled on top of him. Authorities have not given any indications on how that happened.
